Here are your Puck Previews: Spotlighting the key games in NHL action, news and views as well as general frivolity. Make sure to stop back here for the nightly Three Stars when the games are finished.
Preview: Minnesota Wild at Calgary Flames, 9:30 p.m. Remember how Brad Staubitz fought in the last five minutes of last night's Wild game and earned an instigator? Well, he had it rescinded by the NHL, and "will not be suspended for tonight's game in Calgary and coach Todd Richards will not be fined $10,000," according the Michael Russo, who explains why. Niklas Backstrom is back for the Wild between the pipes, having gone 3-0-1 with a 1.22 GAA against the Flames this season and 7-1-1 with a 1.22 GAA and two shutouts in his last 10 starts against the Flames. Which is pretty darn good. Watch the Game Live Via Hockey Night on Y!
Preview: Toronto Maple Leafs at New York Rangers, 7 p.m. John Tortorella on the loss of Brandon Dubinsky for up to a month with a fractured fibula: "We have five games in seven nights. There's no time to think, there's no time to whine. It's time to play and just find a way to try and get points." Jonas Gustavsson starts for the Leafs, who also get Kris Versteeg back from injury.
Preview: Columbus Blue Jackets at Florida Panthers, 7:30 p.m. The Jackets are on a 1-9-4 slide on the road as they head to Sunrise, 24 hours after a shootout loss in Tampa. Tomas Vokoun's "benching" comes to an end, as he'll face the BJs after Scott Clemmensen went 2-0-1. The Panthers are 7-for-18 with the man advantage over the last four games, which is insane when you consider they were converting at an 8.6-percent clip not too long ago.
