Lexi Thompson gets a driving lesson from a NASCAR driver

Lexi Thompson is a professional golfer already well on her way to fame and fortune. And she just turned 16 in February, which means she needs to get her driver's license. But do you think a budding pro athlete is going to learn how to drive from a bitter high school football coach, the way the rest of us did? Heck no! She's bringing in some heavy artiller: NASCAR driver Brian Vickers.

In this little video from Red Bull (can't embed it here, alas), you can see Lexi learn the driving ropes from Brian, and in turn she gave him some golfing tips.

"I'm not sure if this is the best approach or the worst approach," Vickers said. "They gave me a 16-year-old girl and a race car and said, 'Teach her how to drive.'" Lexi is still a minor, friends, so let's not even mention an infamous Maxim article on Vickers, OK?

Oh, and she got to do burnouts! My high school football teacher never taught me to do that!
