It's almost time for the season to begin, and that means dusting off some of our regular features No sport offers up a more bewildering array of souvenir crap memorabilia than NASCAR, and They Make It digs deep into the corners of the Internet to bring all that strangeness to light. The item: The double-Dale Wrangler clock. It's Dale! It's the other Dale! It's Wrangler! What more do you need, huh?
The deal: Commemorating Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s victorious run this past summer at Daytona in the Nationwide race, this prize clock ... uh ... tells time. Beyond that, well, you're out of luck.
This little item continues the morbid fascination that NASCAR has with the Earnhardt-Daytona connection. Expect to see much more of this kind of thing in the coming weeks, as we near the 10th anniversary of Earnhardt's passing.
