Report: Autopsy shows Aaron Douglas had multiple drugs in his body

It's been about six weeks since Alabama offensive lineman Aaron Douglas tragically died and on Tuesday, the reason for his untimely death was revealed.

WVLT-TV in Knoxville obtained Douglas' autopsy report and is reporting that Douglas died from multiple drugs in his body, including Methadone and Diazepam.

Methadone is usually used as a pain reliever and Diazapam is used to treat anxiety and nervousness. There's no word on whether Douglas obtained the drugs at the party or already had them.

On May 12, Douglas, 21, was found unresponsive on the second-floor balcony of aFernandina Beach, Fla., home. Douglas, who was in Jacksonville to visit his grandmother, was "contacted by two local women" and ended up at a house party about 20 miles away in Fernandina Beach. He was seen at the party as late a 2 a.m.

A male resident found his body on the balcony the next morning.

Back in 2010, Douglas admitted to battling depression and he was cited for a DUI last Christmas.

Douglas was a Freshman All-American at Tennessee before deciding to transfer. He spent last season at Western Arizona Community College before signing with Alabama. He went through spring drills with the Crimson Tide and was in line to become a starter.
